daddy's little helper

Well, Ben's dream has come true. He has a little helper.

Early Saturday morning, Ben woke up, went outside, and started working on the sand box I have been wishing for since, probably, April. With the wood Bob brought, the project was now possible. At 7am Rivers awakened, huge smile spreading across his face, as he showed off his sweet jumping skills (in his bed). After pulling him out, and changing his diaper, Rivers squirmed off the changing table and went searching for dad. And what did he find? Papa building something special outside.

Immediately Rivers went straight to work, handing dad nails, slapping the tarp to be sure it was secure enough. He was Ben's right hand man

And pretty soon, he even got to help dad hammer. He did an awesome job!

After a long half hour of helping papa, mom made Rivers get dressed into some real working clothes. Immediately after he ran outside to help dad pour the sand.

After all that hard work, it was now officially time to play! Thank you, thank you Ben, for building little Rivs and myself our very own sand box! (and thank you so much Bob for all the wood!)
