Daddy Obsessed
Rivers is obsessed with his daddy. He thinks his dad is so cool! Sunday morning Ben brought his guitar out to play and Rivers was stoked! He quickly ran back to his room to grab his xylaphone and started playing in the band.
Rivs was very disappointed when the music had to stop, and the guitar was locked up and put away. He thought playing guitar instead of getting ready for church was much more important. He continually kept grabbing either Ben's hand or my own and dragging us back to the bedroom to ask us if we could continue playing the guitar. Finally Monday morning rolled around, and Rivs begged for more guitar with dad. So dad put away his studies, to play a song with Rivs. Rivers was in Heaven. How he loves his dad.

I enjoy your posts a lot. While our situations came about in different ways we have found a joy in trying to enjoy the heck out of the kids we have now before they grow up. We've actually looked at it as we only have them for 12 and 14 more years and we want to enjoy every minute of it. I hope you can find that peace as you grieve.
