summer rain

 As we hurried into the house, trying to avoid the cool rain drops falling from the sky, Rivers began to yell and successfully wiggle out of my arms. He ran onto the porch, held out his arms and looked up into the cloudy sky - a huge smile filling his round face. I followed his cue. . . into the storm we ventured.

We had a blast, playing tag in the back yard, flying Rivers into the air, and dancing wildly in the rain. Embracing each rain drop that fell from the sky. Little kids (and summer rain) really do make life irresistible.
